Evolution
Hotel feasibility and evaluation computer models were first introduced back in the 1980s. Since then, they have largely evolved using Microsoft Excel. Our directors and partner company, DGiCo, have used and elaborated these models thru to the present. Weaknesses in the systems were always apparent, including: version compatibility issues, errors and inaccuracies due to complicated spreadsheets, version control, single machine based programs and storage. All these issues have been addressed and overcome in XiScope Hotel.
The online financial model and project appraisal product was first commissioned by DGiCo in 2008 and has been
retro-tested, for the 2011 version, on over 100 projects. XiScope Hotel is currently being used by DGiCo on major mixed-use, hotel, residential and leisure projects, as part of the feasibility process, worldwide. As such, the internal workings of XiScope Hotel software is demonstrably robust.
